Crocodiles

The mother crocodile builds a huge nest of wet leaves and vegetation that will hold 40 to 60 eggs. The mother crocodile protects the nest from other animals. After 12 weeks, the baby crocodiles hatch and the mother carries them to the water in its mouth.

The baby crocodiles eat a lot. They are good at catching food. They slowly grow bigger each year. Most crocodiles live to be 70 years old, but some can even live up to 100 years.
